NUEVOS REGISTROS SIGNIFICATIVOS PARA LA HERPETOFAUNA DE LA ECOREGIÓN DE LOS YUNGAS EN EL DEPARTAMENTO DE COCHABAMBA, BOLIVIA

Se presentan catorce nuevos registros adicionales obtenidos durante los monitoreos de herpetofauna realizados en Sehuencas, Parque Nacional Carrasco, Cochabamba, Bolivia, entre junio de 2018 y enero de 2024. Anfibios, Bufonidae (Rhinella quechua), Hemiphractidae (Gastrotheca lauzuricae, Gastrotheca testudinea); Hylidae (Boana lanciformis), Phyllomedusidae (Phyllomedusa boliviana) y Craugastoridae (Oreobates sanctaecrucis y Yunganastes pluvicanorus). Reptiles, Colubridae (Chironius exoletus, Chironius laurenti) y Dipsadidae (Erythrolamprus aesculapii, Erythrolamprus cf. reginae, Erythrolamprus taeniurus, Oxyrhopus emberti, Siphlophis compressus). Estos registros constituyen importantes adiciones altitudinales que a su vez demarcan la distribución de algunas especies en los Yungas del Parque Nacional Carrasco, incrementando así el conocimiento y comprensión de la herpetofauna en una de las ecorregiones menos conocidas, como es la ecoregion de los Yungas en Bolivia y Sudamérica.
