RECUENTO DE PRESAS DE Leptophis mexicanus (DUMÉRIL, BIBRON & DUMÉRIL, 1854) (SQUAMATA: COLUBRIDAE) Y ADICIÓN DE INTENTO DE DEPREDACIÓN DE Agalychnis callidryas (Cope, 1862) (ANURA: HYLIDAE)

Documentamos el primer caso de intento de depredación de Agalychnis callidryas por Leptophis mexicanus en el sureste de Nicaragua. A su vez, mediante una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica, señalamos aspectos puntuales de la ecología de L. mexicanus y recopilamos 28 registros de presas. El recuento de casos evidencia un mayor grado de plasticidad en la dieta de esta serpiente y refleja una estrategia generalista facultativa, adaptada a contextos ecológicos específicos, según la disponibilidad de presas.
