Resumen

Reportamos un caso de una araña (Pamphobeteus sp.) depredando a una víbora (Bothrops asper) en estado silvestre. Reportamos esta nueva observación en el bosque siempreverde de tierras bajas de Ecuador y es el primer caso de depredación de género Pamphobeteus a una víbora y el primer caso de depredación de araña a serpiente en Ecuador, aportando nueva información sobre la interacción entre ambas especies.
