CONTRIBUCIONES A LA HISTORIA NATURAL DE Rhinella jimi Y Rhinella diptycha (ANURA, BUFONIDAE): REGISTROS DE COMPORTAMIENTO Y UNA ANOMALÍA OCULAR

Se reportan nuevas evidencias de comportamiento para los sapos sudamericanos Rhinella jimi y R. diptycha. Estos registros provienen de años de observaciones personales de poblaciones de R. jimi en el municipio de Ibicuí, estado de Bahía, Brasil y de datos de ciencia ciudadana depositados en la plataforma iNaturalist. Además, se describe una anomalía ocular en R. jimi. Los comportamientos registrados (posturas defensivas, capacidad de trepar y comportamiento agregativo), reflejan la complejidad y la plasticidad de las estrategias conductuales en los sapos del género Rhinella.
