PRIMER REGISTRO DE ANOFTALMIA UNILATERAL EN Isthmura bellii (Gray, 1850) (CAUDATA: PLETHODONTIDAE) EN LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO

Se documenta por primera vez un caso de anoftalmia unilateral en la salamandra Isthmura bellii. Este fenómeno se caracteriza por la ausencia total del ojo izquierdo sin evidencia de lesiones asociadas a depredación. Esta observación es escasa en el orden Caudata, por lo que amplía el conocimiento de esta anomalía en anfibios mexicanos.
