Resumen

En los Andes colombianos, la distribución de los anuros, especialmente en los géneros Pristimantis y Niceforonia, no se ha estudiado en profundidad, limitando el desarrollo de estrategias de conservación. Este estudio documenta nuevos registros de tres especies en Quindío y Risaralda, aportando a la comprensión de su ecología y distribución. Entre 2020 y 2025, se muestrearon cuatro localidades en ecosistemas de bosque altoandino, registrando a N. latens y P. buckleyi en Quindío y N. adenobrachia y N. latens en Risaralda. Dichos registros extienden los rangos de distribución de N. adenobrachia y N. latens, y representan el primer registro formal de P. buckleyi en Quindío. Además, se documentó el primer reporte de un comportamiento antidepredatorio en N. latens (inflar el cuerpo). Este estudio aporta información valiosa sobre la distribución y ecología de estos anuros, destacando la necesidad de aumentar los esfuerzos de investigación para mejorar el conocimiento de la biodiversidad.
