Abstract

Engystomops pustulosus is small-sized frog that inhabits from Oaxaca and Veracruz, in Mexico, to northern South America. In the Yucatan peninsula, this species has been recorded in several localities in southern Campeche and Quintana Roo. In this work we report four new records of E. pustulosus in Campeche, Mexico. Two of these records represent the northernmost localities of this species in the region, and one constitutes the first documented record within the boundaries of the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve. These records contribute to the knowledge of the distribution and ecology of E. pustulosus in the Yucatan Peninsula.
