Information and knowledge about the distribution of Lampropeltis polyzona is scarce in the state of Durango, so documentation of records is needed to provide a clear picture of the species' distribution and abundance. This paper describes the record obtained in Pueblo Nuevo, Durango, which expands the species' distribution and represents the most extensive occurrence in the state. This contributes to complementing and updating the information on this subject in northern Mexico.References
