Abstract

We report the first observation of the Ringed Glasstail Snake (Pliocercus euryzonus) feeding on eggs of the Gliding Leaf Frog (Agalychnis spurrelli). This report contributes to the expanding knowledge of the dietary habits of cryptic snake species and provides an additional record of oophagy within snakes.  Furthermore, it adds to the list of known predators of Agalychnis spurelli, highlighting the significance of its reproductive ecology, particularly in relation to prey aggregation for other species.
