The Brahminy Blindsnake, Indotyphlops braminus, is an exotic snake species introduced to Mexico. In the State of Mexico, this species has been reported in three different municipalities: Ixtapan de la Sal, Tenancingo, and Naucalpan. In this note, we report the presence of I. braminus more than 50 km from the nearest known record, towards the southwest of the State of Mexico in the municipality of Tlatlaya.
