Atelopus oxapampae is an endemic and poorly known harlequin frog species previously recorded only from three localities in the cloud forest of Pasco Department in central Peru. During herpetological surveys conducted between 2019 and 2022 in the Pasco and Junín departments, we recorded new locality data and provided additional insights into the morphological variation, distribution, natural history, and health status with respect to Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd).
