Abstract

Until now only three species of the genus Thamnophis were recorded in the Barranca de Metztitlan Biosphere Reserve, Hidalgo, but thanks to the monitoring work carried out by the Communitarian Squad of Snake Rescue and Conservation of this natural protected area, it was possible to register T. eques for the first time.
