Abstract

The presence of the Coleonyx elegans lizard was recently suggested from Hidalgo state, however, there was insufficient information to confirm its presence in the state. Here we present the first confirmed records for the state that were found in antopized environments of the Huasteca Hidalguense, in the municipalities of Jaltocán and Huejutla de Reyes.
