Abstract

In this note we report the first record of the Veracruz worm salamander Pseudoeurycea lineola in a protected area dominated by secondary forest, on the outskirts of the city of Xalapa, Veracruz. The record occurs more than a century after the only record of the species that has been reported in the municipality of Xalapa.
