Abstract

In this note we present a case of predation of small-eared tree frog Rheohyla miotympanum by the false coral snake Pliocercus elapoides in central Veracruz, México. This report represents the first known vertebrate predator of the small-eared tree frog, and the first hylid prey item reported in the diet of the false coral snake
