Erythrolamprus sagittifer is distributed in Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina. It is an oviparous, diurnal and generalist species. Geranoaetus albicaudatus is widely distributed from Texas to Argentine Patagonia and feeds on a wide range of vertebrates and invertebrates. We present the first documented record of predation of E. sagittifer by G. albicaudatus in the Province of Neuquén, Argentina.
