Abstract

Although most snakes are adapted to consume large preys, misjudging the size limit of the prey that they are capable of consuming can result in the death of the snake. Herein we present the third case of incidental death of an adult Trimorphodon biscutatus due to the predation of a juvenile specimen of Ctenosaura pectinata.
