Abstract

As a result of the search for individuals in the Biological expedition to the Serranía del Baudó in the area of influence of the municipality of Nuquí, upper part of the Tribugá River, two individuals were recorded, one female and one male of the species Ctenophryne aterrima, expanded its geographical distribution for the department of Chocó. According to the IUCN, this species is of least concern, however, a more extensive evaluation of its populations in this important region of Colombia is recommended.
