Abstract

This note provides two new sightings of the Shaman Fringe-limbed Treefrog (Ecnomiohyla sukia). Currently its only known habitat is the Atlantic slope of central Costa Rica. Previously, the northernmost report of the species was from the Arenal Volcano Lake area. This report documents sightings of the species in the Área de Conservación Guanacaste and the Miravalles-Jorge Manuel Dengo National Park, in the Guanacaste Mountain range.
