Abstract

We report the first records of Metlapilcoatlus indomitus for the department of Comayagua from a collected specimen and a photographic record. We discuss its presence in western and central Honduras, in addition to the existing records in Nicaragua and we comment on the known data of the reproductive biology of the genus Metlapilcoatlus in Honduras.
