We present new evidence of the Mountain Caecilian (Gymnopis syntrema) inside Mexican territory. The event occurred in the Santuario del Cocodrilo, Tres Lagunas, community de Lacanjá Chansayab, Ocosingo, Chiapas within the region known as Eastern Mountains also known as Selva Lacandona.
