While conducting wildlife monitoring in the Sierra de Santa Catarina, Mexico City, we found an adult of Sceloporus grammicus with thoracic kyphosis and pelvic scoliosis. These anomalies, together with lordosis, are the most commonly reported in reptiles. Throughout one year of reptile monitoring in the Sierra de Santa Catarina we counted 246 specimens of S. grammicus, of wich only this individual presented the mentioned condition, which is in agreement with the literature that its prevalence is low in wild animals.
