Abstract

Vehicular roadkill of wildlife threatens global biodiversity. In Mexico, studies on the impact of road kill on amphibian and reptile species are limited compared to other countries. This note presents four new records of amphibian and reptile species in the municipality of Rafael Delgado, Veracruz, which come from individuals hit by motor vehicles. These new records increase the knowledge of the herpetofauna of Rafael Delgado, currently represented by 11 species of amphibians and nine reptiles.
